Rollix at the Wind for Goods 2025 trade fair

Rollix will be exhibiting for the first time at Wind for Goods 2025, on 19 and 20 June at the Saint-Nazaire submarine base in France, Hall 2.

Rollix has been designing and manufacturing slewing rings for the marine sector for over 30 years. Our solutions are developed to meet the specific constraints of this sector. Each Rollix slewing ring is made to measure, with diameters of up to 6000mm, and is designed to withstand the salty environment thanks to specific surface treatments and patented seals.

Faced with the challenges of climate change, wind propulsion transport is emerging as a solution for the future to help decarbonise the maritime sector. By using the force of the wind, this technology can considerably reduce CO2 emissions and offer a greener alternative to traditional methods. As part of the Defontaine Group, we develop bespoke slewing rings, which are essential for optimising the wind grip and ensuring the efficiency of sailing systems. Thanks to our expertise in the maritime sector, we are supporting the transition to more sustainable and responsible solutions for a wide range of ships.

The Wind for Goods trade fair is the first international event dedicated to the sailing of goods and passengers, bringing together representatives of the industry to highlight solutions and practices that will help reduce the shipping industry’s carbon footprint.

Come and meet Baptiste Lefrère, Key Account Manager, at the show to find out more about our services and how our slewing rings and modules can support the success of your marine projects.
