The RJE Logistics Department provides constant support for the "customer-to-customer" process which aims to satisfy the needs of our clients. It closely works with all RJE departments and in particular  with sales administration, purchasing, suppliers and production management in chronological process order.  


This Department has various missions:

  • updating the order book with electronically orders (EDI)
  • updating forecasts based on information provided by our customers (engine programmes, for example)
  • providing lead times either directly to the customer (in the case of blanket orders) or to sales administration (in the case of ad-hoc customer orders)
  • analysing the match between the workload and the capacity of our production facilities, in conjunction with RJE production management
  • processing MRP results (creation of work orders and purchase requests)
  • chasing up suppliers on lead times
  • exchanging data with our customers (lead times, priority between parts where arbitration is required, quality assessment, etc.)
  • measuring logistics performance (percent of fill)
