Geometry and stock

Inertia rings are dimensionally designed on the basis of the following non-exhaustive data:

  • Flywheel casing
  • Inertia
  • Maximum engine speed
  •  …

    Depending on the calculated stresses, the following stock can be used:
  • C10, C15 or S355 steel
  • C35 to C45 steel
