Our starter motor ring gears are manufactured on automated equipment designed to guarantee flexibility, productivity and quality. The actual processes may differ depending on the requirements specified in the manufacturer’s drawings (machined or unmachined faces, tooth chamfering or not, etc.), but all our starter motor ring gears are forged at our premises according to our technique of rolling and flash welding from bar.

Inspections are performed at each significant stage of manufacturing to guarantee product quality in terms of mechanical characteristics, cleanliness, hardness, dimensions, etc. (operations framed in red in the flow diagram below).
For the specific operations of the process such as welding, heating and heat treatment, our process monitoring systems guarantee 100% of production on the associated characteristics (operations in blue text in the flow diagram below).
